Introduction to Cambridge Solar's Professional Services

At Cambridge Solar we can offer you a full range of services to help you get your solar, battery storage and EV charger project from initial enquiry right through to installation and beyond. We assist your organisation in developing a coherent renewable energy strategy and implementation plan.

Strategy & Implementation

Developing and investing in renewable energy projects can be a big commitment for your organisation. Cambridge Solar can help you make the right decisions, identifying opportunities, risks, potential funding, planning issues, installation implications, benefits and long term financial analysis.

Project Management

From conception to completion, Cambridge Solar can manage your whole solar, battery and EV charger project, making the whole process as easy as possible for you and your organisation.

Business Case Assessment

This is often the first stage of an enquiry with Cambridge Solar. It is an initial technical and commercial desktop assessment for a particular solar and battery storage solution. We identify where problems may arise with a project and if need be, or indeed if possible, offer potential alternative solutions. This process saves times and resources later on in a project as non-opportunities can be eliminated early on and efforts concentrated on the most suitable technology.

Opportunities Study

This consists of a study of a site or project to identify and outline the potential opportunities for implementing solar, battery and self consumption technologies. The study can be site or technology specific or cover numerous technologies and various sites depending upon your needs.

Feasibility Study

The feasibility study is often the next step after an opportunities study. It focuses in much more depth on the specific projects deemed worthy of further investigation following the opportunities study. It provides a detailed study of the site, potential yields available, technical and commercial implications, potential system designs and more.

System Design

This is the most important part of the project process. The completed design consists of a complete design document, electrical and mechanical drawings and risk assessments.

Installation & Engineering

Cambridge Solar and our partners can carry out the installation of your solar, battery and self consumption systems.

Management & Maintenance

Once the system is installed Cambridge Solar can manage and maintain your project for the life of the system making sure that it is always performing well, ensuring you get the maximum benefit from your renewable energy system.
